The Stance in Golf

With this tip, we will see how to get a good stance or a good position in a golf shot. To have a good stance in golf, and to be more consistent in our shots, we will consider the following three steps.

What is the stance in golf?

As we saw in one of my first tips, the stance in golf is the position that the player takes when he prepares to hit the ball; one of the essential techniques in golf if you want to achieve a good swing and enhance your game.

How to get a good stance?

With this tip, we will see how to get a good stance or a good position in a golf shot. To have a good stance in golf, and to be more consistent in our shots, we will consider the following:

1.First, we must respect the club and place it well behind the ball, pointing towards the goal we want to throw and respecting the base. This way, we will always be at the correct distance from the ball.

2.Second, we will place the body in front of the club with the feet to the same width as the shoulders, respecting that the weight of our body is balanced; meaning, not too much pressure on the heels nor at the ends, neither on the left foot nor on the right foot; find the perfect balance.

3.Third and last step, we will place ourselves right in front of the ball, we will bend to take the club and we will mark the angles of the back well. This means that we must keep our back as straight as possible; since we must avoid being in the form of “C”; This will make it difficult for us during the swing to keep the position well. Keep in mind that to make the blow, the weight of our body must be well distributed between the two legs; and between the heels and the tips of the feet.

Try it and you will see the improvement in your shots.
